The so-called Rocky Needle stony geological formation is also known as Devil’s Rock (Čertova skala). It is located in the water meadow of the Poprad River, about two and half kilometres away from Chmeľnica village in the county of Stará Ľubovňa.

Rocky Needle is 12-metres high and a protected natural monument. Due to the erosion of the river banks, there is constant movement of the river bed, the formation finding itself in the river.
