Main railway station in Bratislava has new lounge for families with children

The lounge is open daily from 8:00 to 18:00.

The Government Saloon at the main railway station in Bratislava has become a lounge for families with children.

The Slovak website Deti.sk wanted to change the official space into a funny and cosy room where families with children can rest, informed editor-in-chief of the website, Martina Haršanyiová.

It was not the easiest task, she said, but they succeeded in creating the space. There is the motif of a travelling child on the walls and also a children’s corner with play-house and slide.

There is also a modern booth designed for women for comfortable and undisturbed breastfeeding. The design of the booth is of a train coupe.
