Slovakia lost its second match against Finland

Three Finnish goals were scored by Kaapo Kakko.

The Slovak national hockey team lost in their second match of the 2019 IIHF World Championships against Finland. The match ended with the result 2:4.

Erik Černák and Martin Marinčin scored for Slovakia. Three Finnish goals were scored by Kaapo Kakko and one by Petteri Lindbohm.

This year’s ice hockey world championship is being held in Slovakia, with the teams playing in Bratislava and Košice.

The Slovak national team is playing in group A of the preliminary round, with the matches being held in Košice. They will face teams from the US, Finland, Canada, Germany, France, Great Britain, and Denmark.

Based on the current men’s IIHF World Rankings, Slovakia is currently in 10th position with Finland ranking 5th.
