Slovakia has improved the most in building its national brand

The country’s rise in the FutureBrand Country Index confirms that creating a national brand was the right decision, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

Slovakia is working on improving its image. In the recent FutureBrand Country Index 2019 international survey, it ranked 35th. Slovakia has improved its position by 24 places compared to 2014, which means it has improved its image the most of all involved countries, the TASR newswire reported.

This is a very good result, which only confirms it was a positive step to carry out the national brand project, said Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák. The national brand is used by all central state administration bodies, state agencies and other relevant organisations, as well as regional tourist organisations and some private companies.
