Foreigners' Police online booking system will be unavailable

Foreigners will not be able to make an appointment with immigration authorities online for a month.

It was only in April of this year when the Foreigners’ Police proudly introduced its online booking system to make the lives of foreigners in Slovakia somewhat easier.

However, the system will be not available half the summer holiday, from July 12 until August 5.

“The system will migrate into the government cloud,” the police explained why the service is to be unavailable for nearly four weeks.

The government cloud is a platform that enables the government to create a more efficient way of sharing its technical sources, including databases and servers.
