After several days with windy and cooler weather in Slovakia, high temperatures will hit the country again this week.
“In central Europe, there will be a weak area of higher pressure in the second half of the week,” the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informed on Facebook.
Hot air will start flowing into the region from the southwest over the weekend, the SHMÚ added.
The temperature on Wednesday, July 17, will range from 21°C to 28°C.
Hot weekend
Even when exact temperatures are uncertain, as claimed by the SHMÚ, the cold weather is now over.
In fact, the air should warm up to 29°C by Friday, July 19, and the weekend will get even hotter.
