The recently published text messages exchanged between Marian Kočner and Alena Zsuzsová suggest that the former planned to save the government of Robert Fico with the help of the far-right People’s Party – Our Slovakia (ĽSNS) led by Marian Kotleba.
Kočner wanted ĽSNS to ensure that the government would continue ruling, even if Most-Híd decided to leave the coalition after the murders of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová. He presented these plans to Zsuzsová in the messages encrypted via the Threema app, the Sme daily reported.
Only two weeks after the public learned about the murder, Kočner told Zsuzsová via text message that Fico had a plan to save his government.
