Interior Minister Denisa Saková (Smer), General Prosecutor Jaromír Čižnár, Police Corps President Milan Lučanský and even PM Peter Pellegrini (Smer) are seemingly uninterested in the recent call of Smer chair Robert Fico, who wants them to maintain order at their departments in connection with the scandals of Marian Kočner.
All of them have confirmed, either directly or indirectly, that they do not plan to interfere in the investigation, the Denník N daily reported.
Call unheard
“I address Interior Minister Denisa Saková and call her to political responsibility as a chair of the party that nominated her to the post. I address PM Peter Pellegrini, who is my subordinate in the party and who was nominated by me for the post of prime minister. I address General Prosecutor Čižnár and Police Corps President Milan Lučanský to maintain order with the law enforcement bodies,” Fico said on August 15.
