Tesco will only send out groceries in downtown Bratislava

There is the question of what will happen with the building on Kamenné Námestie after changing owners.

People visiting the My department store situated on Kamenné Námestie square in downtown Bratislava may be welcomed by the increasing number of empty shelves and stalls.

One of the reasons may be the change of the store’s owner, the Denník N daily reported.

Tesco Stores sold its last department store building to the Mirage Shopping Center company of Žilina-based businessman George Trabelssie, for more than €20 million at the beginning of this year.

What will change?

Tesco first assured its customers that not much would change. The range of products started to decrease in early March, when the retailer moved its assortment to only one of the two buildings.
