Čičava or Čičva, a castle ruin from the 13th century, towers over the village of Sedliská in eastern Slovakia,Korzár Sme reported.

The castle was damaged during the last Rákóczi uprising in 1711 and since then it has been in ruins.

There has been an ongoing reconstruction since 2014 under the leadership of the Pro Futuro of Čičva Castle civic association.
