Those who understand the Slovak language and have an interest in what is happening in Slovakia had something to listen to on Monday morning, when Denník N published the recording of a 2014 conversation between Marian Kočner and Dobroslav Trnka, the former general prosecutor.
It is worth lending your ear to it for at least a few minutes, just to hear the tone of voice that Kočner applied when talking to the man who until 2011 headed the institution that is by definition meant to be the guardian of lawfulness in the state.
The dynamics of the conversation are as follows: Kočner is furious with Trnka (calling him a d..k at least a dozen times, twice with the attribute sky-high).
