Two men arrested at a nuclear plant in Mochovce

This is the police's second search at the plant in the past few months.

The specialised team of the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) raided the Mochovce nuclear power plant in the Nitra Region for the second time in less than six months on Wednesday.

"The raid was related to the provision of services,” the police said on Facebook. “The volume of invoiced work compared to reality had been increased by about 1,000 percent.”

All the increased invoices were paid to the supplier.

The police detained two people during the raid, which had been code-named the Manager.

One of the arrested men is a joint-stock company manager, the second is a manager of one of the suppliers, who provides work and services for the completion of Units 3 and 4 of the power plant in Mochovce.
