The American fast food chain, Wendy's, could open its restaurant in Bratislava.
The news website tvnoviny.sk writes that the third largest fast food chain has announced its expansion into Central and Eastern Europe.
"As part of our European expansion plan, we are actively trying to use our franchise model in Central or Eastern Europe, including Slovakia," the company said.
The brand opened its first European restaurants in the UK in 2021.
Wendy's was founded by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. The chain is mainly known for its hamburgers and spicy chicken sandwiches.
Another fast food chain, Five Guys, also has plans to open a restaurant in Slovakia.
