Bratislava Airport is switching to a wintertime regime. While popular destinations like Malta, Skopje or Thessaloniki stay on the flight plan, new destination have been added.
The airport operates in two regimes – first comes with daylight saving time, starting March 25 and the second with wintertime change, starting October 30. Travelers can now visit Dubai, Rome, Edinburgh and browse through a catalogue of charter flights.
New destinations include Zanzibar
To escape Slovak winter, travelers have the chance to visit Dubai, flying straight from Bratislava. The flights are provided by Smartwings with a timetable planned for two days a week. Flights are scheduled on Wednesday and Sunday.
Dalaman, Turkey is another new destination on the timetable, with flights scheduled on Saturday.
The airport’s timetable added new charter flights as well. Travelers can now fly straight from Bratislava to Zanzibar, Oman or the Cape Verde Islands.
Edinburgh is returning to the new destinations list.
Passengers can also look for flights in the most frequented destinations: five times a week to Dublin with Ryanair and London – Stansted with Ryanair every day and to Luton with Wizz Air twice a week.
Other popular destinations remaining on the schedule are Manchester, Leeds, Brussels, Copenhagen and Eindhoven, all services provided by Ryanair.
Fixed destinations
Malta is scheduled for Friday and Sunday, and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands scheduled for Tuesday and Saturday are provided by Ryanair as Bratislava’s fixed destinations.
Rome accompanies them on Ryanair’s list, scheduled for Friday and Sunday. Egypt’s Hurghada is also on the list of popular fixed destinations, provided by Air Cairo.
Passengers craving a Greek experience will gladly hear that Thessaloniki is remaining on the fixed timetable. Along with the Greek destination, Bratislava Airport offers a flight to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia or the North Macedonian town of Skopje. All flights are provided by Ryanair.
Milano-Bergamo is on the fixed destinations list, too.
