Dozens of metallurgists in the Orava region, northern Slovakia, have lost their job.

The Orava-based metallurgical company OFZ has announced the dismissal of about 150 employees to the nearest labour office in Dolný Kubín. About 200 other employees are currently on a vacation leave, the regional news website My Orava wrote.
