Porsche announces it will build new halls for the production of battery modules in the industrial park in Horná Streda. The investment is valued at approximately €300 million, with around 300 new jobs to be created.
Two Púchov rubber companies owned by German tyre giant Continental are merged into one. Continental says the move will simplify processes and increase efficiency. Rubber factories are among the largest industrial enterprises in Slovakia.
American manufacturer of surgical supplies Medline says it will build a second factory, employing 580 employees, near Partizánske. Along with its first plant, which opened only two years ago, the company will employ more than 1,100 people in the city. It will be the largest health-care goods production facility in the country.

The Japanese company Sekisui Chemical says it will bring to Slovakia production of innovative plastic photovoltaic panels, which are lighter and more flexible than traditional silicon panels.
Rede-Project plans to build a production-warehouse with infrastructure and administrative premises near Veľky Krtíš for the Italian company Technogym. The investor estimates the total costs to be €9 million.
Engineering company RP Hujo is to invest €5 million in the expansion and modernization of its production facility in Bytča. The business, owned by the Hujo family, supplies electrical substations to the US. The upcoming investment is its biggest to date.
