Belarusian post-punk/coldwave trio Molchat Doma have returned to the Panorama Hotel in Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras. A striking example of socialist modernist architecture, the hotel became world-famous after featuring on the cover of their 2018 album "Etazhi".

Recently, the band released a video performing three songs in front of a snow-clad Panorama. The weather and the hotel's imposing silhouette perfectly complement Molchat Doma’s signature dark, brooding sound. As one YouTube commenter put it, the band was "performing at the location of their most iconic album cover."

"Live at Panorama Hotel" was directed by Alina Pasok, who has previously worked with acts like Oliver Tree and Little Big. It filmed in November 2024 during their European tour, with the support of NOCAP, a Bratislava-based Czech-Slovak service production company. "We have mainly worked on advertising for brands like Xiaomi. A lot of our work involves supporting foreign film productions shooting in Slovakia, supplying them with crew," said Monika Kraft, Executive Producer at NOCAP.

Originally from Minsk, Belarus, but now based in Los Angeles, Molchat Doma have experienced a meteoric rise since their debut. Their music is "dark yet danceable, with a heavy dose of goth ethos," according to their official website. Early in their career, they played a show in Bratislava’s Kulturak club (now Signal). Thanks to their online success, they have since performed at major festivals, including Coachella in the U.S. and Primavera in Spain.
