JAZZ Music: The jazz grouping Štefan “Pišta” Bartuš & Jazz Brothers has started a new tour featuring Ondrej Krajňák on piano, Marián Ševčík on drums, Hanka Gregušová on vocals with special guest Radovan Tariška on alto saxophone. On June 27 the group plays at 20:30 in the Kaviareň na korze café at Štúrova 15 in Levice (and at following concerts in Nitra, Partizánske and Rimavská Sobota). LIVE MUSIC: The Nuevo Tango Ensemble is an Italian band (Gianni Iorio, playing the bandonium, Pasquale Stafano on piano and Pierluigi Balducci on bass) established in 1999 and concentrated around its member’s love for Argentine music. Over time is has found its own, unique style combining Nuevo tango with Italian playfulness. This concert is dedicated to the great Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.

MARTIAL ARTS: K1 Empress Liga – This league presents battles in the K1 and MMA categories. K-1 is a world-wide kickboxing promotion and its rules are similar to those of kickboxing but they have been simplified to promote exciting matches that may end in a knockout win. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, including boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai style, kickboxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, kung fu and other styles.
