LEGENDARY Slovak band Elán will close the Bratislava Summer of Culture on September 27. The famous rockers promise a fantastic show at Bratislava Castle, with the gates opening at 17:00.
The "Kings of Slovak rock", who are celebrating 25 years together, will play songs from their latest album as well as well-known hits. The line-up of singer and guitarist Jožo Ráž, guitarist Jano Baláž and keyboardist Vašo Patejdl will rock the stage.
To start the evening's entertainment, Elán has invited another legendary outfit, the Taktici band. Taktici's original members emigrated to the US during Communism. The regime tried to erase any memory of them and a new line-up took over under the same name. But the original outfit was never forgotten and Elán, which took inspiration from them, is helping Taktici to find fame now in return.
Taktici will open the evening at 18:30. Elán will take to the stage at 22:00. The happening will culminate with a fireworks display from the specially illuminated castle.
Note: The special occasion requires special precautions. No cars will be allowed to park near the castle and through traffic will also be restricted. The organizers advise using public transport. Tickets are on sale at the venue. The concert will take place whatever the weather.
