A new documentary film "Prezidentka" (The President) will soon provide the first ever look behind the scenes of former president Zuzana Čaputová's term in office.
"The audience will have the opportunity to see what it's like to be the head of state from a never-before-seen perspective," say the creators. The film was directed by Marek Šulík, who had followed Čaputová with camera since the election night.
The film showcases many aspects of her tenure. Viewers get a behind-the-scenes view of her dealing with crises, her decision making, the granting of amnesties and the writing of her speeches. The film also delves into her personal life.

"Zuzana Čaputová's extremely generous attitude was evident when she decided to allow me to move relatively freely with the camera in the premises of the Presidential Palace during the performance of her mandate," says the director.
The film will be premiered at the 28th edition of the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czechia this Friday, October 25, while in Slovakia it will be screened for the first time as part of the Jeden Svet film festival on October 27.
