After Slovakia has spent seven months lost in the labyrinth of speculations about who could have gone so far as to order the murder of a journalist, the police claim that they have detained those who executed two young people in a gangland-style murder.

Every decent or even less than decent person is now wishing for that claim to be true, because what is at stake is much more than just the reputation of the police.
