In addition to school break schedules, the Bratislava Public Transport Company (DPB) has announced several changes to come into effect from Monday, July 1.
Buses, trams and trolleybuses will follow the school break schedule (pracovné dni, školské prázdniny) until August 30. Tram line 7 will not operate during both summer months.
There will be some changes to other lines as well. Trolleybus line 33 will see new shorter and air-conditioned vehicles that will replace the almost 18-year-old ones, and will run more often. Bus line 29 will have improved operation.
Bus line 30 will see a local change in the stops of Lamač borough. Moreover, the line will run more often on workdays. Also in the direction of the Patrónka bus stop and back, the line will halt at the same bus stop operated by bus line 63, allowing for easier transfers.
Bus lines 25, 26 and 92 to the Volkswagen industrial park in the Devínska Nová Ves borough will not operate on Saturday afternoon.
Bus line 147 operating between the Hodžovo Námestie square and Slavín will have a few new stops.
DPB also announced that new timetables will be issued for other lines as well and recommends that passengers check the schedule ahead of using public transport.
Over the course of this summer, reconstruction work will be carried out in several locations. DPB will announce them in advance.
