How to make the EU great again?
Tuesday, October 8, 17:00 - 20:30 in Austrian Cultural Forum (Hodžovo nám. 1/A).
Slovakia's development is intrinsically linked to development in the EU and dependent on Slovakia's position in the EU. However, the view and attitude of the Slovak and European public towards the EU is changing under the influence of many crises, problems and challenges of the 21st century.
The guests of the public debate from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Hungary and Brussels will discuss these questions. There will also be an Introductory Lecture at 17:00.
Discussion in Slovak and English, for registration click here.

Symbols around us
Meeting point: Saturday, October 5, at 9:50 on Primaciálne námestie square (in front of the Primate's Palace).
On an unusual walk around Bratislava, you will take a closer look at both well-known and less famous symbols that surround us in the city centre. The walk will offer inspiration with symbols based on the range of topics and questions to which classical philosophy has sought answers since time immemorial. You will talk about refining a person's character, the formation of a harmonious society, and the perception and meaning of time.
The number of participants is limited, so please register via this link.

Czech music in Dvorana
Sunday, October 13, at 18:00 in Dvorana concert hall of VŠMU (Zochova 1).
The cycle of chamber concerts organised by the Moyzes Quartet has a long-standing tradition in Bratislava and makes the string quartet genre accessible to the general public.
With this tradition in its 19th year, the current focus is Czech music, as the Moyzes Quartet's contribution to the "Year of Czech Music". In addition to works by Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana, the concerts will also feature works by Slovak composers Ján Cikker, Petr Zagar, Ladislav Burlas and Vladimír Godár, as well as works by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Luigi Boccherini and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
