The ski season is kicking off, bringing with it a unique type of business that peaks around the New Year. But what is the state of the market? Which resorts lead the pack, and what new developments can skiers look forward to this year?

These are the questions answered by the Largest in Business ranking, compiled by The Slovak Spectator. Resorts were evaluated primarily based on the duration of their ski runs (accounting for 70 percent of the score) and the maximum transport capacity of their lifts and cable cars.

Tatry Mountain Resorts (TMR) dominates the top 10, with three entries. Alongside the key statistics of the resorts and lift pass prices, the ranking also delves into ownership details.
