Completion of two big projects will reduce traffic congestion in Bratislava

Several large on-going projects have been complicating traffic flow in Bratislava for months. The near completion of two of them, the rebuilding of Mlynské Nivy Street and the reconstruction of the tram track to Karlova Ves and Dúbravka, will bring relief for drivers as well as public transport passengers.

“We expect Mlynské Nivy Street to open for passenger car transport, public transport, pedestrians and cyclists at the turn of October and November,” Katarína Rajčanová, Bratislava spokesperson, told the economic daily Hospodárske Noviny.
