The nearest such a club sits in the Czech Republic and is called the Ladies Investment Club of Česká Spořitelna. A similar club can be found under the name Smart Ladies Investment Club in neighbouring Austria.

Štefan Frimmer, spokesperson of the biggest Slovak bank, Slovenská Sporiteľňa, revealed that they are contemplating launching a similar club using Česká Spořitelna’s platform.

“The main vision of the club is to provide and spread amongst women expert knowledge about the development of capital markets, new investment tools and strategies,” Romana Vlková, the Czech club’s manager told the daily.

She confirms that women are more careful when making investments.

“They put more emphasis on flexibility in increasing the value of their savings and assets, and are also prone to ethically correct investments,” said Vlková.

Other women’s investment clubs include Beardstown Business and Professional Women’s Investment Club in the USA, and The Women’s Investment Club in Sydney.
