THE NATIONAL Bank of Slovakia (NBS) has green-lighted an increase of the share the financial group J&T holds in Poštová Banka. The central bank’s approval is a confirmation of the previously announced strategic partnership between J&T and the former majority shareholder in the bank, Istrokapitál SE.
When the transaction is completed, the J&T group will have an 88.055 percent stake in the share capital and voting rights in Poštová Banka. Completion of the transformation is still subject to approval by the Antitrust Office, the SITA newswire reported.
