MetLife Amslico opens new office

METLIFE Amslico, one of the biggest life insurance companies in Slovakia, opened a new headquarters in Bratislava in mid April. More than 200 people from three companies (for life insurance, funds and services) will work in the new premises in the Eurovea complex on the Danube embankment.

The office will also serve as a sub-regional centre for four countries in central Europe (Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Ukraine) with more than 1.8 million clients, the company wrote in its press release.

MetLife currently provides insurance cover to more than 450,000 households in Slovakia.

MetLife Amslico, formerly Amslico AIG Life, is part of MetLife, the largest life insurance company in the United States. MetLife acquired AIG last year and the Amslico AIG Life branch in Slovakia was part of the transaction.
