A NEW terminal for passenger integrated transport was put into operation in Pezinok in early September. The €428,000-terminal should help passengers to travel in the region more easily.

“This terminal will significantly support our idea of integrated transport, i.e. people will arrive by bus, [transfer to the] train and continue their travel to Bratislava,” said Pavol Frešo, the head of Bratislava Region, as cited by the SITA newswire. People will be able to travel within the whole region of Bratislava using one ticket as of December. “This is a modern way of transport which is used in all large agglomerations around European capitals.”
