SLOVENSKÁ sporiteľňa (SLSP) received the title of "Best Slovak Bank" from the prestigious British financial magazine Euromoney, the TASR news agency wrote.
The jury assessed qualitative and quantitative indexes, such as market share, market position, new product development, progress within the last year, management systems, and the amount of property owned.
The jury particularly appreciated Slovenská sporiteľňa's significant growth in the spheres of consumer credits and asset administration. SLSP's total year-on-year net profit for 2004 grew by 19 percent, in accordance with international financial-reporting standards.
