Trustee concealing information on Bašternák. A prosecution has been launched

Trustee may be fined with up to €5,000.

The Justice Ministry has confirmed that bankruptcy trustee Lenka Ivanová is violating the law when she does not publish important information from the bankruptcy proceeding concerning the property of tax convict Ladislav Bašternák.

The motion to scrutinise her actions was submitted by the Sme daily’s reported Adam Valček on July 26.

She can avoid the fine

Since the bankruptcy proceeding on Bašternák’s property started this May, Ivanová has failed to publish the value of debt claims and the identity of creditors (i.e. information how much Bašternák owes and to whom).
