THE OSKÁR Čepan prize is an annual award given to a Slovak artist under the age of 35. Named after a leading Slovak art theorist, the prize was founded in 1996, and this year it was awarded to Mário Chromý for his video series. Besides Chromý, the jury chose three other finalists - Martin Kollár, Svätopluk Mikyta, and Boris Sirka - from 30 artists who applied for the competition. Their works will be exhibited at the Mirbach Palace Gallery until August 31. Open daily except Monday 10:00-18:00 on Františkánske námestie 11. Admission Sk40.
