Slovak swimmer Martina Moravcová was 23rd in the elimination round of the 100-metre freestyle, with a time of 55.20 seconds. This means she did not make it to the semi-finals, which take place on August 14.
“It was my best time in the season, which can be a small consolation. But I wanted to swim somewhere under 55 seconds, which would have been much better. I gave my best in the moment. I felt better than during the 100-metre butterfly,” Moravcová said. SITA
