Pohoda Festival, the largest of its kind in the country, welcomed 30,000 festival goers at the airport in Trenčín, western Slovakia, over the past weekend, July 11-14, bringing the airport's genius loci back to life again.

Among the 2019 list of artists were The 1975, Liam Gallagher, The Roots, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lianne La Havas, Skepta, Mura Masa and Michael Kiwanuka.

Despite some on-the-spot changes in the line-up, the festival also hosted a variety of art forms, including theatre, dance, an open-air gallery, sports and scientific activities. In addition, several media held numerous discussions on the EU, fake news and the situation in Slovakia.
