Count down the last seconds of the end of this year on the already legendary light timer. In the background you will see the decoration of the historic SND building, and in the foreground will be hugs with loved ones and smiles. The magical atmosphere of the beginning of the year will also be complemented by a Strauss waltz under the open sky.

This year, for the first time, the atmosphere will be complemented by Christmas markets, which will continue until New Year's Eve. The Old Town and the main Christmas markets on Hviezdoslavovo and Hlavné Námestie squares will be open until 2:00 on New Year's Eve.

Procession of the Magi in Bratislava

January 6 at 14:30 from Bratislava Castle courtyard

In many capitals of Europe, an epic parade is organised through the streets on the Feast of the Three Kings. On Saturday, January 6, for the fourth time, in the spirit of the ancient traditions of the European continent, the three-kings' parade will also take place in Bratislava.

The procession will set off from the courtyard of Bratislava Castle at half past two in the afternoon. From there you can follow the three kings on their journey to the star, a journey full of surprises. They will continue through the Palisády to the mediaeval city centre, symbolising Jerusalem, until the journey will end at the Main Square, which will be transformed into a Bethlehem stable, where the wise men will find the young king. A musical concert will add another atmospheric touch to this fun event.
