The festival honours the 320th anniversary of the composer's birth and the 255th anniversary of his death. It will unofficially begin in 2004 with the publishing of a table calendar called Historical Organs of Slovakia 2005, featuring photographs and descriptions of 31 organs (see www.juras.sk) and with the recording of the second part of Bach's The Well Tempered Piano performed by Miro Bázlik. The organisers also prepared a recording of Bach's organ work performed by Stanislav Šurin.
