Bratislava’s borough of Nové Mesto will soon have its own skatepark. It will be located next to the Kuchajda lake, a popular recreational site in the capital.
“After months of intensive work, we are reaching the final stage – the structural construction is complete, and the finishing touches are currently underway,” says Matúš Čupka, the mayor of the borough, on social networks. “Concrete structures are finished, steel barriers are installed and we are finishing the painting works.”
They are currently waiting for the concrete to mature and finishing works in order to officially open the sports ground to the public. Once the coating work is completed, they will begin to install the safety railings, plant a green hedge on the skatepark separation and optical separation of the walkway.
