STUDENTS from grammar schools in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Bulgaria will introduce planets of their own creation in theatre performances this Saturday. With the help of French and theatre teachers, troupes from each of the schools created original pieces inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince, in which the protagonist visits several small planets on his way to Earth.
The performance was organised by the Orange Blue Association, from France, with the help of the Saint-Exupéry Foundation. Orange Blue works in South America, France, and eastern Europe helping children from different countries connect through art. Students from the schools already took part in a drawing programme based on the book, the results of which were exhibited across eastern Europe.
The theatre production will take place on March 20 at 16:00 at the Kamel Klub, Molecova 2, in Bratislava's Karlova Ves neighbourhood. Admission is voluntary.
