Lovers of tradition can learn more about the art of whipping.

Every year, the village of Čičmany (Žilina Region) welcomes both locals and visitors to its "whipping school".

“It’s nice when capable men meet in a nice meadow, in nice surroundings and can crack whips,” said Martin Brxa, the organiser of the whipping school, as quoted by the TASR newswire.
