Dutch Embassy

On September 9, the grand opening of Danubiana, a museum of modern art, took place on the banks of the Danube River. This newly-established art museum presently hosts an exhibition of the works of Dutch painters from 1950 till 2000. Danubiana, part of the larger Meulen Steen art museum, sits south of the Bratislava city centre in the Čunovo area. To get there, drive across Nový most (New Bridge) and south through Petržalka until you arrive in Čunovo. From there, follow the signs to Gabčíkovo dam. If you are travelling by bus, take the 91 line from under New Bridge to Čunovo, where the dam is a short walk away. Exhibition runs till November 17.
