Austrian Embassy
On May 26 the Austrian Embassy offers both a workshop entitled "Comparison of Slovakia and Austria" and a lecture from a series called "The Symbols of Town Identity - Bratislava and Vienna." The workshop, starting at 10:30, will deal with the examples of heroes, holy places, mountains and national foods that were essential in forming the national identities and collective memories of Slovaks and Austrians. The lecture, starting at 18:00 will cover the topics of the two neighbouring capitals. Both events take place at the Austrian Embassy in Mozart hall on Ventúrska 10.
International Women's Club in Bratislava
Women artists from the IWCB are happy to invite you to their Art Exhibition 2000. Anyone interested is cordially invited to the event organised in co-operation with the Slovak Culture Ministry and The National Cultural Centre.
