Latino-American dance party
Fiesta Latina with Miguel Mendez, a Latino dance party allowing the public to experience a slice of the vibrant Latino culture here in Bratislava, will hold 'Viva Mexico' on May 19. The Magisterial group will perform a Mexican dance show followed by DJ Mulato's Latino-American disco show. 1001 Europe lecture series in Bratislava
Paul Chaim Eisenberg will give a lecture entitled Jewish Culture in European Culture. Bratislava Town Gallery
Jan and Meda Mládek's collection of František Kupka and Otto Gutfreund's paintings, which was first displayed in Washington and other cities around the world, comes to Bratislava. A graphic painter and illustrator (1871-1957), Kupka is one of the founders of abstract art. Sculptor Gutfreund (1889-1927) started to apply analytic cubism principles in his sculptures before World War I.
