The aim of the festival is to strengthen the cooperation and friendship between the two countries in cultural, societal, educational and business areas, head of the festival Giovanni Gentile told the press on November 19, as reported by the TASR newswire.

The whole event will open with the benefit concert of Slovak and Italian opera singers held in the Mirror Hall of the Primate’s Palace in Bratislava. Part of the festival will also be various round-table discussions and topical business meetings.
