The attempt will take place within the Spiš Folklore festivities, which will host an international workshop for young cooks in preparing national traditional meals. It will run between July 27 and August 1. For the final day of the festival the organisers have prepared an abundant programme for the general public, including a bryndzové pirohy speed-eating competition and performances by folklore groups.

Spišský salaš is located in Spišské Podhradie, a village below the Spiš Castle, at Levočská cesta 11. For more information call 02/5292-3736.
