BratislavaMARATHON:THE CITY of Bratislava for the fourth time will host the popular Bratislava Marathon. Hundreds of runners are expected to fill the streets of the city centre and surrounding areas for a series of runs from March 27 to 29. A number of accompanying free events have been prepared by the organisers, including concerts by Dominika Mirgová, Martina Schindlerová and Gladiator, as well as different workshops and competitions for children. Admission fees for those who wish to take part in one of the seven different races during the marathon are between €5 and €35. DANCE:TWO UNIQUE offerings will be among the many attractive events at the 10th jubilee edition of the French Culture Days in Košice to be held from March 23 to April 17. The exhibition titled D’Ore et d’espace by Denys Vinzant will be available for free throughout the whole festival at Vojtech Löffler Museum (Alžbetina 20) every Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00. This unique exhibit is a collection of glass sheets written all over with scores in gold ink and thanks to this special technique, the glass objects themselves produce sounds without the need for loudspeakers. The exhibition was designed in 2000 for the Atrium de la Cour des Loges in Lyon. Also on March 28 at 19:00, Black Thiossane, a renowned French-Senegalese band, will perform at the Košice Town Hall (Hviezdoslavova 7), with tickets costing €4.
