Western SLOVAKIA Bratislava FESITVAL: SUSTAINABILITY, energy, design, creativity and corporate responsibility will be among the topics of the upcoming festival titled Re:Made in Holland that will be held in Bratislava between May 16 and 23. This interesting event, organised by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Slovakia, aims to familiarise the Slovak public with the values of the Dutch people and will feature, for example, a benefit bike tour, a traditional Dutch market as well as several film screenings and exhibitions. EXHIBITION: A Man and a Legend – The Slovak National Museum has prepared a rich collection of documents about the life of Milan Rastislav Štefánik. An interactive model of the cockpit of the plane in which he met his tragic death in 1919 is a part of the display.

CONCERT:ONE OF the world’s best-known singers, Enrique Iglesias, will soon give two captivating performances in Bratislava and Košice. The country will be hosting for the first time ever this teen idol of Spanish origin who gained fame in 1999 thanks to his award-winning single Bailamos. Since then, he has added a long list of mega-hits to his repertoire including Hero, Escape, Addicted or Can You Hear Me. Iglesias will perform these and many others at Bratislava’s Sibamac Arena (Príkopova 6) on May 19 and at Košice’s Steel Arena (Nerudova 12) on May 20, both times starting at 20:00.
