Western SLOVAKIA BratislavaEXHIBITION: Spectrum ART is an exhibition in the SPP Gallery, Mlynské nivy 44/c in Bratislava, that offers, until July 31, the works of 15 Slovak artists (T. Bártfay, J. Čutek, I. Pavle, R. Trizma, J. Sabová, F. Nemec, V. Oravec, R. Němeček, P. Pollág, F. Lipták, O. Bachorík, M. Oravec, O. Zimka, M. Pala, and A. Vojtášek) from paintings to sculptures and pottery and photographs. Entry is free; the exhibition is open on weekdays from 12:00 to 17:00.

LIVE MUSIC: Karamelo Santo – Ten Argentinian musicians create a true Latin atmosphere, playing a mixture of ska, punk, reggae, cumbia, salsa and Latin-rock. Malalata Sound System plays at the after-party.

ETHNO MUSIC AND DANCE: Gamelan from Bali – the ‘International Bratislava’ cycle introduces Gamelan, a traditional Indonesian orchestra. This type is called Gong Keybar, meaning it plays vividly and “allegro”. Apart from music, the performance will also present traditional Balinese dances. The final “Poco-poco” dance will give audiences the opportunity to join the artists.

LIVE MUSIC: Steve Hackett – The former guitar player of world-famous rock band Genesis comes to Bratislava to present his work both in bands and as a soloist, supported by the Hungarian fusion band Djabe.
