CONCERT: As part of the Tuesday Evening Concerts in San Marten series, the Los Remedios flamenco band will appear on August 14 at 20:30 in an open-air performance in Rudnayovo Square in Bratislava, near St Martin’s Cathedral. This small group of professional musicians, most of them with foreign experience, focuses on the folklore of Andalusia, mixing it with jazz, classical and popular music in a unique sound that could be labelled world music. The performance, organised as part of the capital’s Cultural Summer programme, is free of charge.

TRIATHLON: This year’s Garmin Žilinský triathlon 2012 / Garmin Žilina Triathlon 2012 is the 14th such competition in the city, and will attract hundreds of participants of both sexes.
