CONCERT:Famous Balkan brass band Boban i Marko Markovič Orkestar (B and M Markovič Orchestra) returns to Bratislava after several successful gigs, this time to play in the Majestic Music Club in Karpatská 2 on October 28 at 20:00. Tjie repertory will include tunes from their latest album “Go Marko GO! Brass Madness” where Boban is accompanied by his son Marko (see photo). GREGORIAN CHANT: 4th International Festival of Gregorian Chant - Four days of Gregorian chants and medieval polyphony resound in seevral Bratislava churches, mostly in the Jesuit Church of the Holy Redeemer, the Franciscan Church Annunciation of the Lord, or in the St Martin's Cathedral. EXHIBITION: The Galéria U anjela / At the Angel Gallery in Starý trh 53 in Kežmarok celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special exhibition, presenting the renowned Slovak graphic artist and professor Róbert Jančovič, called Posol svetla / The Messenger of Light. The artist is fascinated by the medium of light and explores it through individual stories that have their own life and structure. Until November 15, his works can be seen in the gallery for free, except for Mondays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays.
