CONCERT:SERENGETI (real name David Cohn), an American rapper from Chicago, a poet and a “master of words” representing the new wave of rappers, gives a concert in the Nu Spirit Club at Šafárikovo Square 7 in Bratislava to perform his merging of electronic music with folk and rock. Through his alter ego, truck driver Kenny Dennis, he tells stories and jokes reminiscent of both Woody Allen and Homer Simpson. Kremnica
CONCERT: THE KREMNICKÝ Hradný Organ / Kremnica Castle Organ festival offers seven Sundays of organ music, from July 7 with Norwegian organ player Espen Melb, July 14 featuring Italian Gianluca Libertucci, and Italian Corrado Cavalli on July 21, as well as other renowned Slovak, Austrian, German and Hungarian organ masters, many of whom are players in important cathedrals. All concerts, including the one on July 21, take place in the St Catherine Church in Kremnica, starting at 18:00. MOUNTAIN RUN: The 4th year of the ultra-trail marathon, the “extreme” mountain run called Nízkotatranská stíhačka, will lead pairs of runners through a 100-kilometre track with almost 5,500 metres of elevation in a maximum of 25 hours.

JEWISH FESTIVAL: Mazal Tov! - The festival of Jewish culture opens for the second time a series of events, mostly evolving around music - classical music as well as traditional Jewsih klezmer, and also liturgic Jiddish and Israeli songs in synagogue. One of the climaxes should be the cocnert of Avishai Cohen Quartet on July 22. The accompanying events include a creative workshop, a guided tour around Jewish Bardejov on July 21, and two photo exhibitions: Last Folio by Yuri Dojc and of synanogal architecture.
